Huntzinger Farm & Ranch

A fourth generation family operated farm and ranch dedicated to producing quality hay, cattle & beef.

Farming the Royal Slope of the Columbia Basin near Royal City, Washington, a farm and ranch that established on the Royal Slope by James and Karen Huntzinger and now operated by Alan and Alison Huntzinger.


What We Produce

Focused on sustainably farming the land we live on, we farm a broad range of crops including alfalfa & Timothy grass hay, dry beans, corn and wheat.

Cattle is in our blood, Alan’s grandfather drove cattle across the firing ground above the Columbia River much of his life and while we’ve since moved east, we still continue the tradition of owning a cow-calf operation. We raise Black Angus and sell Huntzinger Ranch Premium Beef, USDA-certified beef from our cows raised on the Royal Slope.

Our Black Angus cattle are born, raised and finished here before we harvest them at a USDA certified butcher shop. We offer locker beef (1/2 or whole beef) or specialty cuts of beef year-round. Our beef is premium quality and our best cattle are reserved for our beef program. We dedicate ourselves to raising happy, healthy, thriving animals and we will happily guarantee if you don’t love your beef we’ll refund your purchase.
